    What are the regular working hours in Hong Kong?

    Usual working hours are from 9am to 6pm, however Hong Kong is renowned for having long work hours, with many working past their end time. It is also not uncommon for employees to work the first half of Saturday.

    Payroll in Hong Kong?


    To terminate an employee’s contract in Hong Kong, it must meet the grounds for termination specified in the ‘Employment Ordinance’. Contracts can be terminated without notice within the first month of employment, however after the first month they require 7 days’ notice or payment in lieu of notice.
